"There's something for everyone, you get to meet lots of new people and gain a deep insight."

"This is the second time in a row that I've been part of the crew. It's impressive to see how ChefTreff is continuously developing and how the experience is constantly improving both in front of and behind the scenes. I've already taken on almost all areas of responsibility on both occasions and can say with a clear conscience: "There's something for everyone, it's fun, you get to know lots of new people and gain a deep insight. Skills that have already helped me with my own organization in practice."

"Not everything has to be perfect, it's the result that counts"

"The summit was breathtaking, I particularly liked the appreciation of the entire team and how much everyone offered support on every topic. What I took away for my job is that not everything has to be perfect for it to work well, but that quick solutions and thinking along with you lead much more effectively to the desired result. To this day, I am still grateful to have been part of this event."

In principle, anyone aged 18 or over can apply. It is important that you speak German or English fluently and are keen to make a difference, learn new things and become part of a committed team. You don’t need any previous experience – motivation, team spirit and reliability are key.

You can add your name to the waiting list now – it only takes two minutes. As soon as the selection process starts, we will inform you automatically by e-mail and you can simply complete your application. That way, you won’t miss any deadlines and will be there right from the start.

Yes, of course! You can indicate in your application who you would like to work with. We will try to take this into account when matching you – but depending on your area of responsibility, you may be assigned to different teams.

The Summit runs from April 7 to 13 – from set-up to the event days to dismantling. As a volunteer, you will be part of the production team and support us on several days during the summit week – depending on the area and task. We will inform you of your required availability during the application process. Important: Saturday evening is the big afterparty, you should definitely plan for that! 🎉

For volunteers who are not from Hamburg, we have organized discounted accommodation and transport offers. You don’t have to worry about meals – you have access to our event catering, including drinks and snacks during your assignments.
