Applied Effective Leadership: Foundation & Essentials
Identify strengths. Understand leadership. Take responsibility. In this first module, you’ll lay the foundation for your leadership journey. Together with experienced coaches and your peer group, you’ll reflect on your own strengths, learn about different leadership styles, and understand what “effective leadership” means in a real-world work context. A leadership assessment helps you refine your individual profile—which serves as the foundation for all subsequent modules. The goal is not to learn a theoretical model, but to develop an awareness: How do I lead today—and how do I want to lead?

Friday, 4:00–7:00 p.m. and welcome dinner until 9:00 p.m.

About the Future Leader Academy

About the Future Leader Academy

The Future Leader Academy is a 4-week program for young leaders from Hamburg-based companies who want to actively shape their first leadership role. We launched it in collaboration with MBS because good leadership should be learned early on, not only after years on the job. Here, you’ll gain more than just knowledge: a psychologically grounded, HSBA-certified program and a close-knit peer group that will continue to support you in the future.

How Companies Benefit

How well leadership is exercised has a direct impact on motivation, collaboration, and development within the company. By supporting young leaders early on, a company not only invests in professional development but also retains top talent and helps those who want to advance.
